When I got my PhD on the relationship between the art form and mental health, many art therapists in the field responded enthusiastically. After all, research contributes to the substantiation and positioning of art therapy. And also to professionalisation, provided that the knowledge ends up with the professionals.  But professionals in clinical practice often don't have the time to read all those scientific and somewhat tough articles.  And moreover, what can you do in practice with these scientific insights? In order to make the knowledge from science accessible for clinical practice, I have translated my research results into a method for clinical practice: ArTA.
